PENGELOMPOKAN KABUPATEN/KOTA BERDASARKAN TINGKAT KEMISKINAN MENGGUNAKAN ANALISIS KLASTER K-HARMONIC MEANS

Abstrak

The poverty rate is the proportion of people who are below the poverty line and is seen as an inability to fulfill the basic needs of life. The poverty rate in West Java Province increased by 0.7 percent from 2019 to 2023. In overcoming poverty, it is necessary to group based on regional characteristics using K-Harmonic Means cluster analysis. This research aims to apply the K- Harmonic Means method in analyzing the number of optimal clusters. The data used in this study were taken from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Open Data JABAR in 2022, including eight variables. The results of this study indicate that the most optimal grouping is 2 clusters based on the sillhoutte coefficient value of 0.909. Cluster 1 has 19 members, namely Bogor Regency, Sukabumi Regency, Cianjur Regency, Bandung Regency, Garut Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Ciamis Regency, Kuningan Regency, Cirebon Regency, Majalengka Regency, Sumedang Regency, Indramayu Regency, Subang Regency, Purwakarta Regency, Karawang Regency, West Bandung Regency, Pangandaran Regency, Tasikmalaya City, and Banjar City. Cluster 2 has 8 members, namely Bekasi District, Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City, and Cimahi City. Based on the results of the clustering using K-Harmonic Means, it can be said that the districts/cities in Cluster 1 need to be the top priority in efforts to reduce the poverty rate and the second priority is the districts/cities in Cluster 2.
